On many levels, the Internet means a lot to me. For the last year and a half, it has been the source that has allowed me to provide for my family. I have learned many skills to make money online as well as acquiring skills to offer my services to offline businesses as well. Although the economy has also had a major impact on my business, my long term success with Internet related services continue to drive my passion to learn more and push forward.
I love the Internet because it gives me the ability to operate a global business. I have had customers and clients from all over the globe. The Internet has also allowed me to meet people from all walks of life and all corners of the globe. My new perspective on life is surrounded by the fact other cultures have more in common than I once thought. The media makes it like we all have nothing in common, but I would argue different. Its funny how common interests can bring people together who are a world apart.
I love the Internet because I can use all the resources of others to accomplish things I once thought were impossible. Never in a million years did I ever believe that my life would depend on the Internet so much. I always envisioned that the world wide web would one day change they way businesses operate, but I never thought it would change me.
I love the Internet because it gives me hope. It allows me to believe that all the dreams I once had can still be achieved. I never wanted more than the ability to be comfortable, provide for my family, and help those less fortunate. The Internet gives me a reason to believe that I can still have those goals.
When I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure over two years ago, I saw my dreams crumble before my eyes. I thought my condition would not allow me to achieve the lofty goals I set so long ago. But what I underestimated was the fact I had other options. At that time, I did not see what my future could become because I was blinded by frustration and depression. But one day, I got on the Internet for one specific purpose. My plan was to try to make an extra income to help support my family. I was feeling less than a man because I was no longer the breadwinner in my household. Little did I know, there was more in store for me. Not only did I create a new income stream, but my dreams were rejuvenated. I have since made bigger goals to take my income to another level thanks to the Internet.
For these reasons and more, I really do love the Internet. It is everything I have been looking for but couldn’t find. Although my heart once failed me, it has also given me a new reason to love.
Tommie, great post and great reasons to love the internet. Keep up the hustle… that’s all that any of us have!
Thanks Brandon for stopping by! I have been very busy lately working on new products.
You are right about hustle, been doing that all my life. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth so I got to go out and get it.
Glad you liked the post.
